Essentially,
Religion boils down to the fine line of being young and naive. 5 year olds will believe “a giant invisible bearded man created the universe” simply because they are told so. And they hold on to that.
Parents are also silly for forcing it on others. You wouldn’t tell your child that his favorite color is purple and there is no possible way he could like any other colors, the same goes for religions.
“Everyone knows what REALLY happened is an omnipotent father figure BUILT outer space and then put a garden on earth where a naked couple ate some fruit which was bad and then he had magic no-touchy sex with a virgin who gave birth to this bearded hippy guy who got killed until he came back to life as a zombie where he floats around teaching us not to masturbate too much or we’d be sent to earth’s core to be barbecued for eternity.”
